can you onestly tell me why I cannot wear some of those amazing suits of John Galliano for Christian Dior Haute Couture???? his last collection seen recently in Paris defenitly make me feel that I wanna be a movie star just to have the oppurtunity to go on a red carpet dressing in one of his outfits...
That's my mission now.. I wanna be famous to dress fabolous.. or at least find out a very very rich man..

Last saturday afternoon I went out with my flatmate cause she was looking for a pair of shoes..
it's sales period so it's the best one to move on hunting..
we went in "the best" fashion streets in Milan like Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga and we wanted to feel really bad so we entered in Chanel,Prada.Miu Miu,Dolce&Gabbana,D&G, Vivienne Westwood (always the best one) and others..
it's so sad for we, ordinary common people, to see that also with 60%off sale the almost totality of clothes is still too expensive and impossible to buy.. but as we know dreaming has no cost..

My flatmate bought a pair of light grey wonderful Miu Miu decoltè with jewel high heel.. so cute.. lovely! perfect to wear in special night occasions but also during the day with a pair of skin trousers and the right tee above.

Then with the broken heart because after being in London last new year's eve my wallet is fucking empty so I couldn't buy anything.. we were on the way to come back home when we decided to enter in this outlet where they sell stuff from all the best griffes at very special sales prices.. balenciaga,marni,jhon galliano whatever you like there u can find it but it's a huge mess so u have to be very patient and search well..

I was about to give up all the hope when I saw them.. a pair of high hell sandals from GUCCI 07-08 winter collection just for 79 euros instead of 459!!!
They're simply amazing.. grey with gold files all around.. 2 cm platform for 13,5 cm of high heel.. I don't even remeber from how long I was looking for a pair of shoes like these..
The moral of today's story is that if you really want something and u have no money you can have it also for low prices if you look well!

Different things formed my fashion attitude in life..
the first one is my mom..
she and her sense of glamour grew me up teaching the importance of being unique.
I remember that one of the phrases she told me most when I had to buy something was.. "buy it just one but very cool!"
This is definetly a headline to me.

I don't like to buy cheap things cause I'm a snob or something.. just because I trust that a special piece is 100 times better. Cheap stuff means that is probably made in china and have a massive production.. so the reault is that your item will be seen all over the world dressed from every type of girl/boy and surely the quality is not good.. so it will be damaged in a short time..
This is not my philosophy..
I trust in clothes (I know I might seem a fool saying this but it's what I feel) and my outfits are my buisness card.
In Italy there's a way of saying that is "L'abito non fa il monaco" (suit don't make a priest) and it's true..I know..
but the way you dress is the first thing that people notice.. I also know that most people in the world don't pay all this attenction.. but I'm not talking about those people of course ; )
I have a strong photographic memory.. but I realized that is mostly concerned on clothes.. often I don't remember the shape of the face or the colour of the eyes (except by blue) but I can remember exactly which shoes and which shirt that person was wearing that time..
mmmm.. isn't normal I know but it's me..

I believe that spending "x" money for an amazing suit of that fantastique brand you love gives you more sadisfaction than spending the same "x" money in 4 different things bought in H&M or Mango..
I like H&M and Mango of course.. but the idea of having the same dress that other 10000 girls have just kill me.. if I go out and I see someone wearing my same outfit I think I could die.. fortunately it doesn't happen so often cause I'm a bit addicted on this and I buy only clothes that usually people don't have for several reasons.. because it's vintage because it's a limited edition, because it's from an unknown brand, beacause has something so strong on it that common people could wear maybe just for carnival and most of all (my favourite ever) handmade clothes.. damn! That's the right way on spending your money dude! Get something that nobody has.. people seem always dressed all equals and I think it's so sad.. especially when you're living in a city where fashion is one of the best buisness as Milan where I'm living now.

I'm not saying that I'm better than the others.. I don't wanna give u this wrong idea.. I just wanted to explain that to me dressing it's not just putting something on to cover my body.. it's something about me.. I wanna speak to the world first from my clothes and as I believe that I am unique my outfits have to reflect what I am..

Thanks mom for teaching me this, my wallet will be always empty thanks to your advices!!

I know that the day we'll meet I'll feel something new that I can't even imagine now and it will be the beginning of a new shared life..
I imagine my man as a lover as a friend and as a person to work with.. because love is the base for the best things always..

an example of what I mean is a lovely couple from Australia that after the wedding and their moonholiday decided to create one of the brand that I love most on earth.. I'm talking about P.A.M. aka Perks and Mini..

This is what I call REAL LOVE.. I thank God that these 2 persons met and felt in love so everybody in the world can share the prodoucts of their immagination and beauty.. I remember when I saw them this summer in a party at the beach in Marina di Ravenna (IT).. for a moment I felt I was dying.. it was like seeing Jesus or something for a beliver..
I told them that I loved all the things they do and I was so happy to declare all my passion keeping their hands.. they looked me a little bit confused.. of course they did.. I seemed a fool thinking back at the situation..but you know alchool improves your love even more than the reality.. : )

The first time that I met a PAM creation it was back in 2004 in a shop in Milan.. the name was KING KONG * (I'll talk about soon in another post) and today is no more with us unfortunately.. It was a basic tee on sale (I still remeber that the full price was 50 euro but I get it just for 25 aha!) with a print in the front and on the back... well.. the print was something so cool that I just couldn' fall in love with it.. it has on the front the lovely mogwai with a lot of coloured ballons all around and on the back his bad half gremilin... well Gremilins is still one of my favourite movies and I couldn't belive that someone made such a great tee with my icons on it.. it was love at first sight!

I remeber that when I came back home that night I started to check informations of the brand on internet but at that time it was impossible because it was so unknown and I felt so depressed.. today they have a website (www.perksandmini.com) but I don't understand it.. they always put some strange videos and if you try to click on it you just find the mail contact.. no products, no shops dealer, no news.. nothing.. maybe it's me.. maybe it's their choice but you can easily find a lot of stuff on the web if you want..

today PAM is one of the most coolest brands in street fashion and also the prices became higher than the beginning... if I can say just a thing that I don't like is that the first items that I bought were all made in Australia.. now they produce a lot in China like everybody.. but as we know buisness is buisness.. and Perks and Mini can do what they want because they still keep on making amazing clothes and my love is unfinished to these boy and girl that love each other and give us such fantastic pieces of art for our emotional egocentirc wellness..

a little about Venezia and me

I like to say that my hometown is Venice.. that is not the truth but is so close to my city and I studied there for years so I feel it like mine..
I never been to the USA or Africa or India or Japan (never outside Europe yet), but I can tell for sure that Venice is the most fucking amazing city in the world.
Venice is built on the water and all his houses are so romantic in their old old style.. come on would you really like to tell me that NY or London are better?
in the way of living everyday of course.. but for the beauty.. I'm sorry Venice have no rivals!!

living there to me represented something very important.. I used to walk around the city for hours and hours just looking around and nothing else (I miss u student's life!)..
I noticed that even if you make the same way to come back home you will endlessly keep on finding out something new.. there are so many details everywhere that is impossible to see them all in a time..
you have to live there for a while to feel really the magic and the beauty of Venice.. all his little calli (streets) and campi (literaly means fields but they're like little squares.. in fact the only square in the city is the famous San Marco), are so unique and different one from the other that is impossible to don't fall in love walking inside.. I also love the fact that the city has tons of misterys and traditions.. I read a cuple book on the most and less famous mystery of the city and I can talk you about for hours.. but this is not the right place.. you should just pick up a book and go there to check them all.. you won't be disappointed at all.

But in the end I wanted to say that one of the things that I loved most while I was living there is the unfinished number of people that you can see.. the ministery of tourism calculated that every about 20 milions people come to see Venice..
I said 20 milions!!! can you imagine?? well also other big cities in the world have numbers like this but it's not the same.. Venice is a small city where you can only go around just walking (ok there are boats but trust me if you don't have to achieve a little land you'll be faster on your own feet)..
so all these people around are crazy to share..
italians,europeans,americans,indians.. nations from all over the world come here and you can see e meet faces and coultures just in few metres..
so good for my eyes cause I had the possibility to see the way of dressing from all the races and determinate that japanese people are definetly the best one.. but I will talk about it in another post soon..

While I was there I was studying cinema (another huge passion) when I had the illumination, a kind of shot of love at all one day.. when I understood that my life wasn't strictly concerned in cinema but in fashion.. I told myself.. babe you love cinema.. but is not for you at the moment.. do something about you really love and you're good at.. and the answer was so simple and inside my wardrobe.. it was fashion!
I swear to myself that if one day I could open a shop.. (I'd really love to) then I'll have to open another one in Venice.. so many peolpe pass here.. Venice it's the biggest window of the world and nobody won't make me change idea..
and of course is one of the places that I love and thanks most because I found my way in a sunny spring day four years ago

well.. my proposal for the new year (that officially started on the 13 of january after the umpteenth failed love affair) is to have my own blog..

I know it's not so original but I wanna do it for me first.. to create a memory of my thoughts in years.. ooooooooooooohhhh.... : )

I was thinking about it from a long time but never had the right push to start it..
